Emergency First Response trains you to respond to medical emergencies in the absence of more qualified medical personnel or to assist in a medical emergency under the supervision of medical personnel. You will learn how to assess an emergency situation occurring both in the water and unrelated to water activities.
Through study and hands-on practice you will develop skills that will enable you to help save a life or provide for a better medical outcome for someone involved in a medical emergency. By keeping your training current after this class, the knowledge you gain can be with you for a lifetime.
The diving community takes care of it's own. Be trained as an emergency first responder.
Emergency First Responder certification is a prerequisite for becoming a PADI Rescue Diver.
