the next big step
Rescue Diver Certification enables you to be a safer diver and even more of an asset to those you dive with. All of the PADI classes you've taken before Rescue Diver have focused on developing the skills you need to dive safely and the confidence you need to have fun diving. The PADI Rescue Diver class gives you training that will make an exponential boost in those skills. But, in addition, for the first time in your training you'll learn skills that you can use to help other divers. Learning these skills will add a new dimension to your diving.
You learn self-rescue skills as well as skills needed to help others. Imagine what a confidence boost it will be to know that your diving skill has progressed to the point that you have the knowledge and training to assist other divers.
Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Certification or equivalent; and Emergency First Response (EFR) Certification or equivalent *
* You can take the EFR course concurrently with the Rescue Course. The requirment is simply that you have EFR certification or its equivalent before you can be awarded Rescue Diver Certification.
